Upload guide: what photo works best

Pick a seated side-facing photo, turning toward the person beside you and looking toward the camera, mouth open.

• Light and quality: Choose a recent photo in bright, even light, in high resolution, with your face in sharp focus. Skip screenshots with black bars or app buttons, photos of another screen, and heavy filters that reshape your face.
• Framing: Use a seated view beside a reclining person, turning sideways toward them, the way this template frames its slow zoom-out shot.
• Eyes and gaze: Look toward the camera with your eyes open, no hair across your face.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open and uncovered.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Do not use: front-facing portraits only, distant full-body shots, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
